About Lake O’ The Woods Nudist Club
Founded in 1933, Lake O' the Woods Club has long been well-known among folks and friends from the world-wide nudist community as a jewel and a joy to visit.
We are a member focused, family-friendly cooperative Nudist Club located in the city of Valparaiso in Northwest Indiana; about 55 miles SouthEast of Chicago, and a stone’s throw from Valparaiso University. LOWC is 100% AANR-affiliated.
Ours is one of the two oldest continually operating nudist clubs in the U.S.A; In 2023 we celebrated 90 continuous years as a nudist club. Our setting is 120 acres of hilly forested terrain surrounding the stunning 20-acre creek- and Sager’s Lake.
Our amenities include a heated outdoor pool, hot tub, newly renovated sauna, outdoor showers, volleyball, pickleball, tennis courts, a sandy beach, quiet sun decks, and a fishing dock. Exquisitely unspoiled Sager’s Lake entices swimmers, sailors, fishermen (and women) and birdwatchers, while the woods at at the lake’s edge offers quiet serenity among the flora and fauna.

We enjoy sharing our Lake O’ The Woods with fellow nudists from far and near, and making new friends. Every summer we meet new visitors, many of whom have never been socially nude before but had always wanted to try it in a non-sexual atmosphere. LOWC welcomes visitors so they can enjoy our ammenities while considering if membership at LOWC is right for them.
