Welcome to Lake O’ The Woods Club!

To ensure that your visit with us is as enjoyable as possible, and for everyone’s comfort and safety, please be aware of the following rules and guidelines.

  1. It is the responsibility of all members and guests to maintain a family atmosphere.  In other words, No sexual activity of any kind is allowed outside anywhere on the grounds.  If your behavior is perceived as inappropriate, you may be escorted off the premises.

  2. Parents are responsible for the behavior and safety of their children at all times.  If both parents are not present, a Minor Child Consent Form is required.  The Gatekeeper will help you.  If both custodial parents are not present at the visit, the consent form will need to be filled out by both parents and notarized before you arrive.

  3. Visitors are expected to practice social nudism. We are not a clothing-optional club. Clothing, of any kind, is not allowed while in or on the lake, swimming pool, hot tub, or the sauna. Nudity is also expected in the clubhouse, on the East Pier, and their adjacent lawns and beaches, with exception for special circumstances such as weather or health reasons.

  4. Please practice good hygiene and good manners by sitting on your own towel or wrap when nude. We recommend you carry one with you when moving about the grounds.

  5. The right to privacy is one of our highest priorities.  Therefore, guests are not allowed to take pictures anywhere within the club!  If you have a camera-enabled device with you while here, we require that you cover all lenses with a sticker so others will know you are not using the camera

  6. Every member’s right to privacy requires that their identity as a member is held in strictest confidence and that you respect the privacy of our homes which are scattered around the grounds.

  7. Visitors are welcome to use the clubhouse, the guest kitchen and other facilities in the common areas, including all water equipment such as boats, paddle boards and pool noodles.  Floatation devices are required while on the lake.  No license is needed to fish in our lake.

  8. Visitors are invited to hike the trails.  A map is available from the Gatekeeper with clearly marked spots where you can be seen from the outside and will need to use your towel or wrap to cover up.  We encourage you to stay on the designated trails as poison ivy is common in wooded areas.

  9. The club grounds are maintained by our members. Please leave them in the condition you found them or better. If there is a work project when you visit, you are welcome to participate.

  10. Swimming alone in the lake is not allowed unless you are using an inflatable swim buoy which are available from the Gatekeeper.  We prefer that you have another person with you or in a boat near you.

  11. No glass containers are allowed in the pool area, sun decks or on the beach.

  12. Smoking and vaping at the clubhouse are only allowed in a designated spot on the lawn.

  13. Except when on the way to and from the dog beach, pets (other than service animals) are not allowed near or in the clubhouse, the East Pier, the pool, or tennis court.  Animals must be on a leash and the owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

  14. The speed limit is 15 miles per hour on club roads.

  15. Lake O’ the Woods Club will not tolerate intoxication and/or obnoxious behavior.  Persons of legal drinking age may engage in moderate use of alcoholic beverages at their discretion.

  16. No illegal substances are allowed anywhere on the property.

  17. Fireworks and discharging a firearm are prohibited on the property.

  18. Campers need to place their trash in the dumpster at the main gates.  Be aware that there are raccoons and other animals that will get into garbage if it is left out.  Cans and plastic bottles are recycled with bins by the clubhouse.

  19. Overnight occupancy in the clubhouse is prohibited.
