General Information for Visitors

  • ARE YOU BRINGING YOUR MINOR CHILDREN OR GRANDCHILDREN TO LOWC? READ THIS FIRST: A “Family” consists of a single or couple with children 17 and under. Further, if BOTH parents are not present, you will not be permitted on the grounds without a completed Minor Child Consent Form, which has been signed before the lowc gatekeeper by both PARENTS, otherwise signed before a notary public by the non-present parent(s) or legal guardian(s). No exceptions. Call if this is unclear.

  • You will not be admitted outside of gatekeeper hours (defined above), unless you are staying on the grounds and have made arrangements with your host

  • No visitors may remain on the grounds after closing time (9 pm) unless they are staying overnight and have accommodations.

  • Reservations for R.V. hookup sites will be taken. Call the Gatekeeper: 219-299—0848

  • Reservations for our primitive tent-camping sites are not required; there is plenty of space.

  • All visitors over 17 must present a valid ID.

  • All visitors are required to sign a general liability waiver at their first visit that is valid for every subsequent visit.

  • All visitors must wear the wristband received at check-in during their entire stay. The Gatekeeper can give you a replacement if yours wears out or is lost. Wristbands are not transferable.

  • All visitors are admitted at the discretion of the Gatekeeper.

  • All visitors and C-members are required to check in with the gatekeeper upon arrival.

  • Overnight guests, you may stay on the grounds until 10 am the next day; see Gatekeeper to extend your stay on the grounds. (Your accommodation checkout time is unrelated to grounds fees)

Visitor Grounds Fees

 

Daily Visitors 

Fees are Per family, couple, or single

$50 for members of AANR, TNS, or FCN, or active military (with ID)

$50 Visitors 30 and under.

$60 Everyone else

$30 If arriving between 4pm and 5pm (Or, no charge if staying overnight and paying full grounds fees for the next day)

$30 Overnight Only. Arriving after 4pm, check out by 10am the following day.

$30 Extended check-out to 2 PM)

Cash or credit card accepted. Must have valid identification (DL, State ID, Passport)

no admittance after 5pm, or after 6pm on saturdays, unless arrangements are made ahead of time

New! C-Member, Limited Term Membership

C Member

A limited Term Membership valid from May thru September in the current season. Can be renewed annually.

Bring this completed C Member application with you on your first visit

$100 Annual Dues

$40 per each day of use

$20 if arriving between 4pm and 5pm (Or, no charge if staying overnight and paying full grounds fees for the next day)
