Cabins and Rooms for rent

These are the current rental options available on the club grounds, wherein clothing is unnecessary.

All rentals are hosted by individual members via AirBnB — not by the club.

In every case, registering with LOWC Gatekeeper upon arrival and paying daily grounds fee is required in addition to the nightly room rate of your accommodation.

Paying the daily grounds fee is not optional for guests staying in Airbnb rentals, whether they intend to use the amenities or not. This is a club rule that AirBnB hosts must adhere to during the club’s open season, May through September. (At other times of the year, guests will purchase a $10 Trail Pass from your host to use the trails.) The grounds fee provides guests full use of club’s amenities (heated outdoor pool, lake, sunning decks, sauna, hot tub, two beaches, all watercraft, fishing access, hiking trails, courts, games, etc.), and to participate in club events such as meals, dances, and other special events.

"Shagbark" Tiny House Hosted By Sabine

Shagbark is our charming tiny house in the woods!

Full size bed, a heater, water heater/cooler (no running water), toaster oven, coffee maker, two-burner electric hot plate. There is a small refrigerator in the unit for some groceries. The inside dining table seats 4.
A private porta-potty is right outside the cottage.

There is a small patio on the back of the house with view of the lake.

Shagbark is located only 10 mins by foot from the shared swimming pool, clubhouse with sauna and hot tub, the main beach, and Toasty Buns grill.
It’s a two-minute walk to the quiet and serene East Pier where there is a beach and a dock with lounge chairs waiting for you.

As with all the rental units on the grounds, Shagbark guests must register with the club’s Gatekeeper and pay the grounds fee ($30-50) in addition to this rental fee. This non-optional fee allows guests full use of the club’s amenities including lake and trails.

James & Sue's Cottage

Private one-room cottage on North side near East Pier. Queen bed, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, TV, coffee maker. Work/dining area., private deck, parking. There is a porta-potty 50 feet from the cottage, but there is no indoor plumbing. Showers, hot tub, sauna, and pool are a 10-minute walk or short drive to the clubhouse which is open 24 hours for guests to use after paying the club’s grounds fee. This fee is separate from the booking fee. (The pool and hot tub are closed 9pm to 9am.) The cottage is sanitized after every rental.

William's Guesthouse

Private guest house on private property fully furnished, 1 bedroom, 1 bath, King Size Bed, Cable TV, WIFI, large private deck with gas grill, outdoor shower, ample closet space. refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot.

You may use the amenities and facilities of the NUDE RESORT - Mid May to mid September. For an additional daily grounds fee of $25 to $50 paid directly to the resort, you will have access to the lake, beaches, trails, heated pool, hot tub, sauna etc. Walk the trails, kayak the lake or just relax by the heated pool or hot tub or on a quiet dock. The additional grounds fees will be charged only if you intend to use the facilities, and are paid daily, at time of use. NUDITY IS REQUIRED WHEN SWIMMING IN THE LAKE, POOL, HOT TUB or SAUNA! Visit Chicago attractions, Indiana Dunes State Park on Lake Michigan, visit wine country in Southwest Michigan. All these attractions are just a short drive away.

Other things to note: We live life naked. For those not familiar with nudity... We are nudists, not swingers!! Nudity does not involve sex. We don't like tan lines. We believe in body acceptance. All colors, shapes and sizes. We believe there is no perfect body, but every body is perfect.

The Bear Den Cabin (No. 12 on the North Side)

Ideally situated one minute from the campground, and a short walk to the pool and clubhouse. Queen bed, kitchen with new induction range, microwave, fridge, coffee maker; AC, gas heat (in winter only), beamed ceiling, knotty pine interior, indoor AND outdoor showers, indoor bathroom. Very near the tennis and pickle ball court.
